1. Who we are
wattBalancer is a product and service of Previn, located at Bloemenstraat 36 in Bemmel, the Netherlands, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number [KVK-NUMMER], VAT number [BTW-NUMMER]. Contact: support@wattbalancer.nl.
2. Applicability
These terms apply to every order of a wattBalancer device (USB or P1 version) and to your use of the related service (dashboard, firmware updates, support). By placing your order or using the dashboard you agree to these terms.
3. The agreement
The purchase agreement is concluded as soon as we confirm your order by email. We may refuse an order or only ship after payment in advance. Prices are in euros, including 21% VAT, excluding shipping costs unless stated otherwise.
4. Delivery
We aim to ship your order within 5 working days after receiving payment. The maximum delivery time is 30 days. If we cannot meet that, you may cancel the agreement free of charge and you will receive a full refund.
You are responsible for providing the correct delivery address. If a parcel is returned as undeliverable due to an incorrect address, we may charge the additional shipping costs for a new shipment.
5. Right of withdrawal
You have 14 days after receipt to cancel the purchase without giving a reason. Return the device in its original packaging and in as-new condition. The shipping costs of the return are at your expense. We will refund the purchase amount within 14 days after receiving the returned device.
The right of withdrawal lapses if the device has been used in a way that goes beyond what is necessary to determine its nature and operation.
6. Warranty
We provide a 2-year manufacturer warranty on material and production defects, counted from the date of purchase. The statutory conformity guarantee remains fully applicable in addition to this.
The warranty is void in case of damage caused by drops, water, self-modification, misuse, or connection outside the specifications described in the manual (USB-C 5V/1A, P1 port DSMR 5.0).
7. Use of the service
Every device comes with lifetime access to the online dashboard (dashboard.previn.nl) and free firmware updates. "Lifetime" means: as long as we offer the service. Should the service ever be discontinued, we will inform you at least 6 months in advance.
You are responsible for your device's internet connection and for the correct settings of your inverter. wattBalancer does not control feed-in to the grid without limits — grid operator curtailment, inverter hardware limits, and weather conditions remain factors.
8. Liability
We do our best to keep the service running flawlessly, but we make no guarantees regarding specific savings or yield. Our liability for direct damages is limited to the purchase price of the device. We are not liable for indirect damages (lost income, consequential damages, etc.), except in case of intent or wilful recklessness.
9. Changes
We may amend these terms. For significant changes you will be notified via the email address linked to your account. The most current version is always available on this page.
10. Applicable law and disputes
These terms are governed by Dutch law. We will first try to resolve disputes between us — if we cannot reach a solution, you can turn to the Dutch courts or use the EU's ODR platform (ec.europa.eu/odr).
